Financial terms explained simply.

Blockchain: A shared, tamper-resistant digital ledger maintained by a distributed network rather than one central authority.
Bond: A loan an investor makes to a government or company, repaid with interest.
Diversification: Spreading investments across different assets to reduce risk.
Dividend: A portion of a company's profit paid out to shareholders.
Fixed Deposit (FDR): A savings product where money is locked in for a fixed period at a fixed interest rate.
Leverage: Using borrowed exposure to control a larger position than your own deposit alone would allow.
Pip: The standard unit for measuring a price change in most forex pairs.
Spread: The difference between the buy price and sell price of an instrument.
Volatility: A measure of how much and how quickly a price moves, regardless of direction.
Wallet (Crypto): Software or hardware that stores the private keys needed to access and manage cryptocurrency.
Yield: The income an investment generates, shown as a percentage of its price or value.
