Liquid Fund for short-term parking of cash, good idea?

I have some cash I do not need for a few months. Does the Liquid Fund make sense for that, versus just leaving it in a savings account?

That is exactly what it is designed for. High liquidity, lower risk, and unit repurchase is fairly quick compared to other funds.
